Kuwaiti authorities handed over on Monday three Egyptians residing in the country to the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL), in preparation for their extradition to Egypt, Al-Arabiya News reported.

According to security sources, the three men belong to the outlawed Muslim Brotherhood (MB) group. They launched a campaign on social media platforms, calling on Egyptian people to protest against the government.

The men were returned under the terms of bilateral agreements between both countries.

It is worth mentioning that, early on July Kuwait handed over eight Egyptians from a local Brotherhood cell, which the recent suspect was a member of. They faced charges of terrorism and for joining a banned “terrorist organisation that works to undermine state institutions.”
