Brazil's oil production is witnessing a recovery after the maintenance of offshore platforms led to a decline of 25% from its levels at the beginning of the year, which were 3.73 million barrels per day.
More than a third of the deficit has been restored, as production is expected to continue to recover in the second half of this year.
Brazilian fields may exceed their previous production by about 200,000 bpd this year as maintenance ends and new offshore development begins, according to Wood Mackenzie.
