On Saturday, media outlets reported that Boston Public and Dazed and Confused star Nicky Katt died at 54.
The news of Katt’s death was confirmed by his attorney, John Sloss, to The Hollywood Reporter.
However, the cause of death has not yet been revealed.
Katt was best known for his role in Boston Public, in which he played geology teacher Harry Senate who taught kids in the “Dungeon.”
In addition, Katt appeared in Law & Order, The Guardian, Friends, Dear John, Father Murphy, and Herbie, the Love Bug.
He was also known for roles in cinema like Dazed and Confused, Boiler Room, The Way of the Gun; and Sin City.
His other film credits include Doom Generation, Strange Days, The Brave One, A Time to Kill and Batman & Robin.
