Tunisia coach Alain Gereis said on Sunday that Black Stars represent a strong team.

"Ghana are strong as they have a tremendous attacking line, but we can work on their weak points to snatch the victory," Gereis said at the pre-match press conference.

"I did not regret a decision to leave Al Ahly’s left-back Ali Maaloul out of Eagles of Carthage," Gereis asserted.

"Our morale is high, and we are getting ready for tomorrow's clash," he said.

"We faced some difficulties in our last encounter against Mauritania," he added.

"Egypt's and Morocco's exit was a huge surprise, but we only concentrate on our confrontations," he noted.

Eagles of Carthage face Ghana on Monday in the last 16 of Africa Cup of Nations at Ismailia stadium at (21:00) pm.

On his part, the ES Tunis forward Taha Yassine Khenissi asserted that his team would fight to secure the victory against Black Stars.

It is worth mentioning that Ghana qualified for the knock-out stage as Group F winners, while Eagles of Carthage finished second in Group E.
