India's second-richest man Mukesh Ambani has added more to his Dubai property empire by buying another beachside villa, breaking his previous record for the city's most expensive housing deal in a matter of months, according to Bloomberg.
Ambani bought the Palm Jumeirah palace last week for about $163 million from the family of a Kuwaiti businessman, said Bloomberg.
Ambani is the chairman of Reliance Industries, the largest Indian company by market value, with a net worth of $84 billion.
The billionaire has been snapping up real estate abroad, increasingly looking west for second homes; Bloomberg reported that Reliance spent $79 million last year to buy the famous country club in the UK, Stoke Park, and is also looking for a property in New York.
