US President Joe Biden is preparing to host a summit with the leaders of Japan and South Korea on August 18, the office of the South Korean President announced on Thursday.
Biden invited South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida for a trilateral meeting in Washington.
Reuters reported that Biden's invitations were represented during the meetings of the three leaders during the G7 summit activities last May.
In the same context, South Korean and Japanese reports highlighted that the forthcoming summit will be hosted at Camp David, Maryland, on August 18.
Until now, no official confirmation was pronounced by the White House, in addition, Reuters revealed that the plans of the summit were not finalized yet.
