Bayern Munich announced on Sunday the signing of the French central defender Dayot Upamecano from RB Leipzig as he will join the German's champion from July.
The last-year UEFA Champions League holder revealed that the 22-year-old player signed a five-year deal until 30 June 2026.

"We’re happy that we’ve been able to sign Dayot Upamecano for FC Bayern München. We’re convinced that Dayot will be a very important member of our team in the coming years," Bayern Chief Hasan Salihamidžić said.
The 22-year-old, who was linked with Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester United, is set to remain in Germany when he leaves Leipzig in the summer.
