Barcelona have reached a full agreement with Borussia Dortmund to sign German forward Karim Adeyemi in one of the headline moves of the summer transfer window.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Catalan club will pay an initial €22 million, with an additional €7 million in performance-related bonuses tied to appearances and title success.
Adeyemi is expected to sign a five-year contract after making it clear that Barcelona was his preferred destination.
Sky Germany's Patrick Berger also confirmed the transfer, reporting that Dortmund negotiated a package worth €22 million plus €9 million in achievable add-ons, while securing a significant 35% sell-on clause as part of the deal.
The report added that the 24-year-old Germany international will earn a net salary of €6 million per season under his new contract.
Barcelona manager Hansi Flick is understood to have played a key role in pushing for the signing, identifying Adeyemi as one of his top attacking targets ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
The transfer marks another major change for Borussia Dortmund, who must now decide how to reinvest the transfer fee as they reshape their squad for the new season and aim to challenge for domestic and European honours.
Meanwhile, Barcelona strengthen their attacking options with one of the Bundesliga's most explosive forwards.
