Banque Misr Contributes EGP 300 Million to Al-Orman Children's Hospital

Mohamed El-Etreby, Chairman of Banque Misr participated in the inauguration of the third phase of Shefaa Al Orman Hospital in Luxor, in the presence of a number of officials, including social solidarity minister Nivine El-Qabbage and Deputy Speaker Mohamed Abou el-Enein.

El-Etreby affirmed the bank’s keenness to cooperate with the Orman Association by contributing to the hospital within the framework of the bank’s keenness to alleviate the suffering of children with cancer in Upper Egypt by EGP 300 million to complete the construction and equipping of the hospital's third phase.

Banque Misr attaches great importance to supporting social responsibility, as the bank contributes to the comprehensive development of various sectors of society, including education and health, and supports the villages most in need, empowering women and youth to help reduce poverty and improving the quality of life.

The bank has spent about EGP 1.5 billion in the field of community development for the fiscal year 2019/20, of which more than EGP 600 million have been directed to support the community in facing the repercussions of the coronavirus.
