The Bahraini News Agency reported on Saturday that Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, will resume its flights to Iraq after a four-year hiatus.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Gulf Air Group, Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani, stressed that the resumption of direct Gulf Air flights between Bahrain and Iraq is an important step within the framework of the company’s efforts to continue developing its network of destinations.

It is worth noting that the first flights of Gulf Air to Iraq were in 1974 and were stopped during  pandemic in 2020.
