Bahraini Foreign Minister (FM) Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani discussed with the European Union's Special Representative for the Gulf, Luigi Di Maio, the current regional developments, including the war in Gaza, and the Arab and international efforts aimed at ceasing fire, releasing detainees, and delivering humanitarian aid to the civilian population in the sector.
They also exchanged views on several regional and international issues of mutual interest.
According to the Bahrain News Agency (BNA), the two sides also discussed the cooperative relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the European Union in various fields and ways to enhance and develop these relations to serve common interests and aspirations.
