The Pentagon announced on Sunday, that US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin discussed with his counterparts in Canada and European countries the latest developments in Russia.
In a statment, Pentagon said that Austin discussed with his counterparts the situation in Russia against the backdrop of the short rebellion led by Yevgeny Prigozhin, the head of the Wagner paramilitary group.
It is worth mentioing that, Top US Military officer, Army General Mark Milley cancelled his visit to Middle East due to situation in Russia.
Colonel David Butler, a spokesman for Army General, said that Milley was scheduled to leave Washington on Saturday to visit Israel and Jordan, accrdong to "Washington Post" newspaper.
Moreover, Butler said - in a separate statement - that Milley spoke today with his Ukrainian counterpart, General Valery Zalogny.
