The Ramadan 2026 timetable (1447 AH) has been officially announced, confirming that Thursday, 19 February 2026, will mark the first day of the holy month, according to astronomical calculations issued by the National Research Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics.
Based on these calculations, the holy month of Ramadan will last 29 days, with Friday, 20 March 2026, expected to be the first day of Eid al-Fitr.
The Ramadan timetable outlines daily suhoor and iftar times, as well as the total number of fasting hours throughout the month, which will gradually increase as the season progresses and spring approaches.
Shortest and Longest Fasting Days
Throughout the month, fasting hours will increase gradually by one to two minutes per day, reflecting the natural change in daylight hours as winter gives way to spring.
