Assi El Hallani to Perform Live in Iraq on Feb.14

Lebanese superstar Assi El Hallani will perform live at the White Hall, in Erbil‬, Iraq, on Monday, February 14.

The concert is a part of Valentine’s day celebrations.

El Hallani, born November 28, 1970, is one of the best singers in the Middle East.

He launched his music career started after he was named the winner in Studio Al Fan, a TV program for young artists, at the age of seventeen.

The musician released over a dozen albums and is best known for his songs “Wani Marek Marreyt”, “Amshi Lihali”, “Malee Saber”, “Ahebbak Gedan”, “Ahla Al Oyoun”, “Shoug Al Sahari”, “Azabounii”, “Bel Arabi”, “Saalouni”, “Ya Memah”, and “Kayed Ozzalak”.

El Hellani studied for approximately five years, from 1985 to 1990, at the Higher Institute of Music in Lebanon, where he focused on the Oud instrument and Arab vocal techniques.

He married his wife, Collette in 1995, and have three children together, two daughters and one son. Maritta Hellani, his daughter, is also a singer.
