The official trailer for the TV series "Around the World in 80 Days" has finally been released.
The trailer introduced the audience to the main characters as well as showed some of the global adventures they will embark on once the series begins.
The trailer featured Phileas Fogg (played by David Tennant) as an adventure, Abigail Fix (Leonie Benesch), as a journalist who is joining him on his escapade to cover his journey, and their companion Jean Passepartout (Ibrahim Koma).
It also featured the encounter they face along the way, including someone shooting at them and a bug flying into Phileas's eye.

The series, which consists of eight episodes, is adapted from the novel of the same name written by the French writer Jules Verne.
The plot centers around Phileas Fogg, as he places a £20,000 wager against the members of the Reform Club, betting that he can circumnavigate the world in only eighty days.
On his journey, he is accompanied by his new valet Jean Passepartout and journalist Abigail Fix.
Simon Crawford Collins serves as executive producer along with Lionel Uzan, Pascal Breton, and Winnie Serite.
"Around the World in 80 Days" is set to premiere on January 2, 2022.
