UN Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, and Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa have affirmed a strong Arab consensus rejecting any compromise on the fundamental principles of the Palestinian cause, according to a breaking news report from "Al-Qahera Al-Ikhbariya".
In a statement, Aboul Gheit emphasized that relief and reconstruction efforts in Gaza are feasible, provided that the Palestinian people remain on their land.
He also condemned Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s remarks about the so-called “voluntary departure” of Gaza’s residents, stating that such comments reveal the true intentions behind Israel’s plans.
The Arab League chief stressed that the immediate priority is securing a ceasefire in Gaza and ensuring the swift entry of humanitarian aid into the besieged enclave.
