Arab Countries Imported Egyptian Agricultural Products Worth $938 Million in 8 Months

 Governmental data revealed that the Arab countries topped the geographical blocs that import agricultural commodities and agricultural products from Egypt during the export season that ended in April 2023, which began in September 2022.

The data affirmed that the Arab countries imported 1.730 million tons at a value of $938 million, representing 41% in quantity and 38% in value.

The European Union (EU) countries ranked second with a quantity of 951,000 tons, at a value of $579 million, with an import rate of 23% for the quantity and 23% for the value.

While countries outside the European Union, including the United Kingdom, ranked third, as they imported 849,000 tons at a value of $589 million.

As for the Asian countries, it ranks fourth with a quantity of 508,000 tons, at a value of $274 million.

The countries of the Americas and Australia come in fifth place, with a quantity of 76,000 tons, at a value of $67 million, and finally, African countries, with a quantity of 59,000 tons, at a value of $30 million.
