The museum director Sabah Abd El Razek explained that the development works include the exterior facades restoration using the same previous colors, raising the efficiency of the iron fence at the main facade.

It also include the reinforcement and development of the three external gates in the main interface for opening and use in the entry and exit of visitors, the transfer of artifacts, cleaning the stone bases of the statues displayed in the garden, as well as the baths development in the museum.

In the development project framework, the fountain will be isolated from the garden to prevent the leakage of water out of it; it is equipped with a new lighting system according to one of the techniques used in this field.

The museum roof, the damaged glass, and the dome will be cleaned and maintained. The facades will be replaced with glass suitable for the museum.
