Oscar-winner Anna Paquin is once again collaborating with her husband, actor-director Stephen Moyer in the movie "A Bit of Light".
The movie will be directed by Moyer, who rose to fame playing vampire Bill Compton on the hit HBO series "True Blood", which also starred Paquin.
"A Bit of Light" will witness Moyer's sophomore feature after he made his directorial debut with the 2019 movie "The Parting Glass", which had also featured Paquin.
Moyer also directed several episodes of "True Blood" as well as the Amazon show, "Flack".
The movie will also star Ray Winstone, Youssef Kerkour, Pippa Bennett-Warner, Luca Hogan, and others.
"A Bit of Light" is written by Rebecca Callard and based on her own play of the same title.
It is centered around Ella (Paquin) who is newly sober and currently living with her father, Alan (Winstone).
In the interim, she is forced to give up custody of her young daughters to her ex-husband, Joseph (Kerkour), and his new partner, Bethan (Bennet-Warner). Ella becomes friends with an unlikely person, a teenage boy (Hogan) who offers her help and supports, which enables her to get her life together.
