SEE – July 22:The history of Mesopotamia backs to southwestern Asia where the earliest  civilization developed.

The name  Mesopotamia comes from a Greek word meaning "between rivers" referring to the land between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers, but the region can be broadly defined to include the area that is now eastern Syria, southeastern Turkey, and most of Iraq.

This is the first civilization that have ever emerged on planet Earth. The evolution of humans the in Mesopotamia dates back to around 3300-750BC, there is no known evidence of any other civilized society before them.

Mesopotamia is generally credited with being the first place where civilized societies truly began to take shape.

Around 8000 BC,man discovered  concepts of agriculture and slowly started to domesticate animals for both the purpose of food as well as to assist in agriculture.

People had been creating art much before all that but all this was a part of human culture not  human civilization.

Later, the Mesopotamians added and formalized all these systems and combined them to form the first civilization.
