CAIRO, Jan. 10 (SEE)- In 1822, the French scientist Jean-François Champollion succeeded in solving the symbols of the ancient Egyptian language. Before that date, the Egyptian language was difficult and the ancient Egyptian civilization was silent and mysterious. Thanks to him and a large number of scholars, the ancient language became understandable.

Dr. Hussein Bassir, a scholar of Egyptology announced that the ancient Egyptian language is an African and Asian language preserver. The ancient Egyptians invented the ancient Egyptian language about 3,000 years before the ''Christ'' birth and it was used until around the 10th century AD. This is perhaps the oldest language in the world it is more than four thousand years old.

The most prominent lines of the ancient Egyptian language ''hieroglyphic line'', means ''sacred inscription'' in the language of the ancient Greece people. The lingua is somewhat similar to our contemporary Arabic language. The classical theater is the language of ancient Egyptian literature.

Ancient Egyptian language is not used now. Experts study this language to read and understand the ancient Egyptians texts. The ancient Egyptian writing system differs from the writing system of our time, so the archaeologists have to understand the word order system in the sentence.

The ancient Egyptian language passed through its long history at various stages. Scientists pided it into five basic stages:

  • Ancient Egyptian: the oldest known phase of language dates back from 2600 to 2100 BC.
  • Egyptian Mediator : it is sometimes called classical Egyptian and is associated with ancient Egyptians and appeared around 2100 to1600 BC, but it continued as a language throughout the ancient Egyptian history.
  • Delayed Egyptian: it took the status of Egyptian mediator after 1600 BC, and differs from the previous stages, especially in the rules.
  • Democracy: an evolution of the Late Egyptian and first appeared around 650 BC, and continued to the 5th century AD.
  • 5.Coptic: it's the late stage of the ancient Egyptian and linked to the democracy phase; it appeared at the end of the 1st century AD, and used for a thousand years. The ''Coptic'' texts that were written by Egyptians date back to the eleventh millennium.
