Egyptian superstar Amr Diab's concert at the Coca-Cola Arena, in Dubai, UAE, which was initially set to take place on Friday (October 20), is now set for November 18.
On Sunday, the musician announced on social media that he will be helping the Palestinian people by donating a portion of profits from the event.
"As part of the 'Tarahom for Gaza' campaign, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Red Crescent Society, supporting their mission to provide aid to the children of Gaza and their families," he said.
On October 7, Hamas initiated Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, a multi-pronged surprise attack that included a barrage of rocket launches and infiltrations into Israel by land, sea, and air.
It said the incursion was in retaliation for the storming of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and growing violence by Israeli settlers. The Israeli military then launched Operation Swords of Iron against Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip.
The ongoing Israeli aggression has resulted in more than 11,078 deaths, including 4,506 children and 3,027 women, in addition to the injury of 27,490 others, the majority of whom are women and children.
The figure stands at more than 1,200 people in Israel.
