It is by the lyrics of Muhammad Al-Qayati and composed by Muhammad Yahya.

Diab, born on October 11, 1961, is a multi-award-winning pop singer-songwriter. He has created his own style which is often termed “Mediterranean Music”, a blend of Western and Egyptian rhythms, by 1992, he became the first Arabic artist to start making high-tech music videos.
David Cooper and Kevin Dawe refer to his music as “the new breed of Mediterranean music”.
He is a Guinness World Record holder, the best selling Middle Eastern artist, a seven-times winner of World Music Awards, and five-times winner of Platinum Records.

In 1988, he made his acting debut in film “Al Sagenatan” starring prominent actresses Elham Shahin and Samah Anwar.
He co-starred in four films, “Al Sagenatan”, “El Afareet”, “Ice Cream in Gleam”, and “Dehk Wa Le’b Wa Gad Wa Hob”.
Diab starred as himself in his second film, “El Afareet” — released in 1989 — with prominent actress, Madiha Kamel.
In 1992, the singing legend starred in his third film “Ice Cream in Gleam”, which was chosen as one of the best five Egyptian musical films by the “UCLA School of Theater, Film, and Television”.
The bestselling artist’s fourth film “Dehk Wa Le’b Wa Gad Wa Hob” came out in 1993, co-starring international Egyptian star Omar Sharif and prominent Egyptian actress Yousra.
Despite the films’ success, Diab did not experience the same level of success in acting as he had with his music. He has focused on his singing career since 1993.
