Egyptian actor Amir Karara is preparing for a new TV series, which he plans to participate in during the Ramadan 2024 drama marathon.
The details for the upcoming series are being kept under wraps.
Karara participated last Ramadan with the TV series "Souq Canto" (Canto Market) has been released.
Hani Sarhan directed the series from a script by Hussein El Menbawy.
The cast also includes Mai Ezz El Din, Fathy Abdel Wahab, Abdel Aziz Makhyoun, Kamal Abu Rayya, and more.
Set in 1950s Egypt, "Souq Canto" follows courageous Taha dealing with old family vendettas and greed for money as he navigates the fierce competition in Souq El Canto.
Karara, born on October 10, 1977, has a degree in tourism from Cairo University. He rose to fame through hosting television contest shows like “Star Maker” and “The Deal”.
Moreover, he played in the national volleyball team, in a lot of national and international games.
Karara is known for his roles in TV series such as “Shabab Al Hawa” (Guys Online), “Lahazat Hariga” (The Egyptian version of ER), “Taraf Talit” (Third Party) “Taht El Ard” (Underground), and “kalabsh” trilogy.
