Ambassadors in Cairo Pay Visit to Baron Empain Palace

On the melodies of calm music, 41 ambassadors in Cairo from all over the world attended the dinner party held yesterday evening by Dr. Khaled Al-Anani, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities at the Baron Empain Palace garden in Heliopolis.

They visited the palace to learn its history after its opening. The minister informed them of the health safety requirements applied in Egypt.

The dinner party was preceded by the ambassadors touring the palace, during which the restoration work and the exhibition held inside its rooms were examined, as well as its paintings, maps and pictures that narrate the history of this ancient palace, the neighborhood of Heliopolis.

They listened to a detailed explanation from Dr. Mostafa Waziri about the palace.

Among the attendees, the ambassadors of Saudi Arabia, England, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland, Bahrain, Belarus, Greece, Sweden, Austria, Belgium, Serbia, Georgia, Ireland, Australia, Argentina Chile, Finland, Mexico, Slovenia, Ukraine, Malta, Cameroon, Cuba, New Zealand, Kazakhstan, South Korea, Armenia, Bulgaria, Colombia, Lithuania, Slovakia.

The ambassadors enjoyed the picturesque atmosphere of the palace and dinner in the garden to the tune of music. They praised the restoration work in the palace as well as the commitment to the applicable health safety regulations. They also praised this effectiveness of Egypt and its resumption of foreign tourism movement in accordance with serious controls.

This visit comes about three weeks after the President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi opened the palace at the end of last June.
