"Ali Fahim Executed After Biglari and Vahedparast as Iran’s Regime Escalates Fear-Driven Repression"

In a new act of bloodshed, Iran’s ruling clerical regime executed the young dissident Ali Fahim at dawn on Monday, April 6, 2026, only one day after executing two other rebels, Mohammad Amin Biglari and Shahin Vahedparast. The timing of these back-to-back executions points to a regime increasingly gripped by fear of renewed uprising inside Iran.

The regime’s judiciary claimed that Ali Fahim and the others were involved in attacking a military site during the January uprising, repeating the familiar narrative used by Tehran to justify the elimination of political opponents under the language of “security” and “law.” In reality, these executions are widely seen as part of an effort to terrorize Iranian society at a moment when the regime fears that rebellious youth and organized resistance may once again ignite a broader revolt.

The executions also come at a time of external war and regional tension, making their political meaning even more revealing. While the regime presents itself as facing threats from abroad, its actions show that its principal enemy remains the Iranian people themselves. The gallows inside Iran have become the clearest sign that the regime fears not foreign pressure first, but internal rebellion.

In response, Maryam Rajavi said the “barbaric execution” of Ali Fahim reflects the regime’s helplessness in the face of an angry people and its fear of a growing uprising that could bring about its downfall. She added that the blood being shed today will not be wasted, but will strengthen the resolve of freedom fighters and rebellious youth across Iran.

The execution of Ali Fahim, following those of Biglari and Vahedparast, does not project strength. It reveals weakness. Every new execution shows a regime that has lost political answers and is relying more openly on fear and death as tools of survival.

For that reason, the case is once again putting pressure on the international community and the UN Security Council to move beyond expressions of concern and take urgent action to halt arbitrary executions and save the lives of political prisoners and young dissidents facing death sentences across Iran.
