Alexandria National Museum will organize an ancient exhibition entitled "Alexandrian Figures" tomorrow Sunday, on the occasion of the celebration of the National Day of the Governorate.
Moamen Othman, head of the museums sector, said that the exhibition highlights two antiques: The mural of Abu Mina and the statue of Alexander the Great. The festivity also included a number of art and children's choir.
“On the sidelines of the exhibition's opening, the museum will organizes a number of educational workshops on Tuesday to develop the skills of children of all ages, and introduce them to the history of the governorate,” Bassem Ibrahim, general manager of the museums said.
He added that all workshops will be held in the museum garden or inside a well-ventilated hall while every group will include only 5 children with the implementation of the precautionary measures.
