Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr have officially announced the departure of Colombian striker Jhon Durán, who has joined Portuguese giants Benfica on a season-long loan during the current summer transfer window.
The Saudi club confirmed that the agreement includes an option to buy at the end of the 2026-27 season, allowing Benfica the opportunity to make the move permanent.
According to Portuguese media reports, Benfica will cover a small portion of Durán's salary, with the Colombian forward reportedly earning around €20 million per year under his contract with Al Nassr.
Durán joined Al Nassr from Premier League side Aston Villa at the beginning of 2025 but spent last season on loan spells with Fenerbahçe in Turkey and Zenit St. Petersburg in Russia.
During his time with Al Nassr, the 22-year-old made 18 appearances, scoring 12 goals in all competitions. His current contract with the Saudi club runs until June 2030.
