”Al Gawahergy” Film Begins Production

Production began on Mohamed Henedy and Mona Zaki’s new film, which is being shot under the working title of “Al Gawahergy”.

According to "Et bil Arabi" shooting began a week ago on the project, which will also feature Tara Emad and Ahmed L Saadany, the latter is replacing Asser Yassin.

Yassin was initially set to star in the film but he became committed to other projects after the makers of the film began production late.

The film is arriving from director Islam Khairi and screenwriter Omar Taher.

“Al Gawahergy” reunites Henedy and Zaki after 23 years from the 1998 film “Saidi at the American University”.
