Egyptian actress, Mona Zaki shared Thursday an update on her upcoming projects.
In a new interview with the "Abu Dhabi" TV channel, Zaki stated that she is preparing for new films, which will begin filming soon.
The actress added that she is collaborating with Mohamed Henedy in a new film directed by Islam Khairy.
She expressed her happiness on their renewed collaboration, saying: "I have not collaborated with him for many years. He is a big comedian and we get happy with collaborating with him."
This marks the pair's first to star in after the 1998 film "Saidi at the American University".
Zaki also added that preparation began for film “Cairo-Mecca”, which is set to begin shooting in September.
The film is written by Mohamed Ragaa, directed by Hani Khalifa, and produced by Mohamed Hefzy.

Zaki was seen recently in TV series “Lebat Newton”, which premiered during the holy month of Ramadan.
It also starred Mohamed Farag, Mohamed Mamdouh, Sayed Ragab, Mohamed El-Tajy, Mayan El-Sayed, Hanan Youssef, and others.
The series is written and directed by Tamer Mohsen.
