A Kuwaiti aircraft carrying 40 tons of humanitarian aid touched down at Al-Arish International Airport in North Sinai on Wednesday, as part of ongoing efforts to support the people of Gaza amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis.

The flight, organized by the Kuwait Red Crescent Society, is the 13th delivery in the second Kuwaiti air bridge under the humanitarian campaign titled “Kuwait Is By Your Side”, which aims to provide urgent relief to Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip.

A senior airport official confirmed that the aircraft was loaded with a variety of essential food supplies, sent as part of the “Fazza for Gaza” campaign, a joint initiative involving Kuwait’s Ministry of Social Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Defense, and the Kuwaiti Air Force.

Upon landing, the aid cargo was swiftly unloaded and transported by trucks to logistic warehouses in Al-Arish. From there, the relief materials will be coordinated for entry into Gaza in cooperation with the Egyptian Red Crescent.

This latest delivery underscores Kuwait's ongoing commitment to humanitarian support for Gaza during one of its most critical periods.

According to airport sources, Al-Arish Airport has received a total of 1,036 humanitarian flights since the beginning of the Israeli military operation in Gaza. These flights, sent by 53 countries and numerous regional and international organizations, have delivered over 27,000 tons of aid, including food, medicine, and other essential supplies.
