Egyptian actor Akram Hosny is collaborating with “The King” Mohamed Mounir on a new song.
In a new interview, Hosny revealed he met Mounir a while ago and noted the veteran singer listened to a song he wrote and composed.
“He liked the song very much and told me that he will perform it when he returns from Germany,” the actor cited.
Hosny also opened up about how he dreamed in the past about meeting and sitting with him.
“Now, I am speaking with Mohamed Mounir and he will be performing my song, one that I wrote and composed. This feels so good,” he added.
The series, titled “Maktoob Alaya”, is a comedy genre that is produced by Karim Abu Zekry and arrives from screenwriter Ihab Blibl and director Khaled El-Halfawy.
“Maktoob Alaya” marks the second collaboration between the actors. They collaborated for the first time in the 2017 hit TV series “Al Wasiya” (The Will).
Hosny and Amin are also collaborating in a new play, “Lama El Regala Tfok”, which is set to be staged soon in Saudi Arabia.
It is written by George Azmy and directed by Khaled Galal.
