Egyptian actor Ahmed Helmy's play "Teet" is set to be staged from February 6-10, within the activities of the 4th edition of the Riyadh Season in Saudi Arabia.

The cast also stars Hannah El Zahed, Hamdy El-Merghany, Mohammed Radwan, and more.

It hails from screenwriter Diaa Mohamed and director by Hisham Atwa.

"Teet" marks the fifth collaboration between Helmy and El Zahed after 2023's "Memo" and "Matloob Arees" as well as 2022's “Aleisma fi Yadi”, and 2020's “Lef W Argaa Tani".

The play's official synopsis reads: "a history teacher rethinks the historical information he provides to students because of a word said by one of the children that changed the course of his life and his views."

Helmy, born on November 18, 1969, started his career in 1993 on the Egyptian Satellite Broadcast.

He made his acting debut in the 1998 acclaimed film “Aboud Ala El Hodoud” (Aboud on the Borders), co-starring with Alaa Waley El Din, and Karim Abdel Aziz.

Thereafter, Helmy quickly made a jump to leading roles in films such as “Omar 2000”, “El Nazer” (2000), “El Selem We Al Tho’ban” (2001), and "Sahar El Layali" (2003).
