Ahmed Hatem to Star in Film "Hassan Al Masry"

Egyptian actor Ahmed Hatem has signed on to star in the action film "Hassan Al Masry".

The film features Hatem portraying Hassan, an Egyptian-born citizen living in Lebanon, who suffers an accident and finds aid from Joel (Diamand Bou Abooud), an old friend and owner of a security company.

"Hassan Al Masry" is helmed by Lebanese director Samir Habashi.

Hatem will be seen next in the film "Al-Matarid".

The cast also features Mahmoud Al Bezzawy, Hassan Malik, Mahmoud Hafez, Mahmoud Al-Laithi, Eyad Nassar, and others.

The film also features Jordanian actor and producer Eyad Nasser making a guest appearance.

Director Yasser Samy helmed the project from a script by Salah El Gehainy and Ezzat Amin.

The film is set to premiere during New Year's season.

Hatem was last seen in the star-studded film “Qamar 14” (Full Moon).

It also starred Khaled El Nabawy, Shereen Reda, Ghada Adel, Arfa Abdel Rassoul, Asma Abulyazeid, Ahmed Bedier, Ahmed Malek, Bayoumi Fouad, May El Ghety, Yasmin Raeis, Ahmed El Fishawy, and others.

It is penned by Mahmoud Zahran and directed by Hadi El Bagoury.

The film takes place on a lunar night where the societal beliefs that kill love are unveiled through five different love stories.
