Egyptian actor Ahmed Fahmy announced Wednesday that he had recovered from the coronavirus.
On January 2, the actor's wife actress, Hannah El Zahed announced that they had tested positive for the virus.
Many celebrities and public figures have tested positive for the virus recently including Rashwan Tawfek, Ali Badrakhan, Naglaa Badr, Ahmed Hatem, Faia Younan, Maha Al Sagheer, Basma, Tamer Habib, and Lamis El Hadidy.
The duo starred in the play “Gawaza Maafrata”, which was staged soon at the Riyadh season on December 2nd.
On the other hand, Fahmy is set to star in a new film titled "Mister X".
The film is directed by Ahmed Rashid and is set to begin production soon.
