Egyptian actor Ahmed El Sakka has reassured fans that he’s “fine” after they expressed concern for his health on social media.
El Sakka, 50, was recently the subject of online buzz after his cameo in the trailer of season 7 of Egyptian actor Ahmed Mekky's comedy hit TV series “Al-Kabir Awy”.
The actor sparks concern among fans when many took notice of his different appearance in the footage.
"I'm fine and I thank everyone who has asked about me. I do not suffer from anything nor do I know who is the source of such rumors. Watching the episode will be the best proof of that and I hope that you will enjoy the episode," he told "ET Bel Arabi".
Moreover, El Sakka is planning to participate in the drama marathon with the TV series "Harb" (Working Title).
The series consists of 10 episodes and will reunite the actor with Mohamed Farag. They previously collaborated in the 2017 TV series "Alhisan al'aswad" and the 2012 film "Al-Maslaha".
El Sakka, born on March 1, 1973, is an Egyptian actor. He graduated from the Academy of Arts.
He began his acting career with appearances in Egyptian mini-series and ended up co-starring in many famed Ramadan series.
Early in his career, El Sakka appeared in popular series such as “Nesf Rabeea El-Akhar”, "Nsf rbye alakhar", "Wamin Aldhy la Yuhibu Fatma?", "Tarwid alsharisa", "Helm El Ganouby", and "Zayzinia S1".
He established himself as an actor in 1998 when he co-starred in the film “Saeedi Fil Gamaa El Amrekeia” (Saeedi in the American University).
