Ahmed Alkooheji, a Bahraini participant in the second edition of the Emerging Peacemakers Forum and a master's student in marketing at the University College of Bahrain, expressed his joy at participating in the forum whilst emphasizing that it represented a great opportunity to meet young people from different nationalities, cultures, and religions.
Alkooheji affirmed that the forum, which he considers to be very important brings together youth from diverse religions, nationalities, and cultures and provides a real opportunity for young people from around the world to exchange their ideas and initiatives on promoting global peace.
Alkooheji also sent a message to the youth of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the world, urging them to participate in such initiatives and events that contribute to spreading the values of dialogue, tolerance, and coexistence. He expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the efforts of the Muslim Council of Elders, under the Chairmanship of His Eminence Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, in organizing such events that build constructive communication bridges among the youth of the world.
The second edition of the Emerging Peacemakers Forum, organized by the Muslim Council of Elders, under the Chairmanship of His Eminence Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar in partnership with the World Council of Churches and the Rose Castle Foundation, kicked off in Geneva, Switzerland and will take place from July 6 to 14 July with participation from 50 young people from around the world.
