Adel Emam Celebrates His 81th Birthday

Today, Arab and Egyptian fans are dedicating the 81th birthday of El-Zaaim actor and the Egyptian cinema star Adel Emam.

Emam, who is well known for his famous series " Gomaa Shawal ", turned 81 today. On Emam’s birthday, both fans and celebrities took to their social media accounts and penned down sweet messages for the legendary star.

The iconic Egyptian actress Leblba and his family members sent him birthday wishes, sharing throwback photos of the remarkable actor.

Also in the same regard, his son the renowned actor Mohmed Adel Emam took to social media to wish Emam on his birthday.

The young actor wrote:" Today marks the birthday of the Big Boss."

 

Often referred to as the ‘Big Boss, ’ Emam has given numerous films that garnered attention from people across the Arab world.

Emam’s rise to fame was slow and steady and he made a lasting name for himself in the Egyptian film industry with numerous domestic and international awards and countless Egyptian movies showcasing his impeccable acting skills.

While Emam rose to prominence playing the bad student called Bahgat ElAbsiry in 'Masrahit Elmoshaghbin' theatre Show, he is also known for a variety of other unforgettable roles. That includes playing Prince of The Darkness, 'Morgan Ahmed Morgan' and 'Hassan and Marcus'.

Emam is also well known for some of his seminal works, such as The lawyer Hassan Sapanekh in Al-Avokato (1983), the Arab country president in seven-year staged play Alzaeim (1993), Arafa the flunkey in Al-Halfout (1985), the undercover policeman in Khamsa Bab (1983) and Al-Nemr wa Al-Ontha (1987).

The recipient of various accolades, including numerous awards for best actor for his role in the cinema title ( Omaret Yakobean ), has been the country's highest-paid actor for decades.
