CAIRO, Mar. 26 (SEE)- The Smart Government Excellence Award kicked off in Cairo on Monday.
During the ceremony, Several distinguished figures in the Arab region were honored for their outstanding initiatives in the smart government and economic and social sectors, including Chairman of the Egyptian-European Business Council Mohamed Abou El-Enein.
The ceremony was held under the patronage of Minister of Planning Hala Al-Saeed, in cooperation with the Excellence Awards Academy, based in Dubai, and the Council of Arab Economic Unity of the Arab League.
Abou El-Enein is an Egyptian businessman, and politician who is the chairman and founder of Cleopatra Group and several councils worldwide.
On the international level, he was elected President of the Egyptian-European Council in 2007 and the Chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM) in 2010, as well as the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union for the Mediterranean.
