Abbas Praises Sisi's Efforts in Reaching Ceasefire Btw Palestinians, Israelis

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas praised on Sunday, the great efforts made by Egypt, under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, to reach a truce agreement and stop aggression against the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip.

In press remarks, Abbas said that the Egyptian active role in reaching truce agreement reflects the strength and specificity of Egyptian-Palestinian relations, and Sisi's keenness and personal interest in Palestinian cause and rights of Palestinian people.

It is worth mentioing that, the Palestinian factions in Gaza and Israel had agreed to a cease-fire brokered by Egypt, according to Reuters.

Two Palestinian officials told Reuters that there is an agreement between the Palestinian factions and Israel on a cease-fire in the Gaza Strip starting from ten o'clock in the evening.
