Marry Me

Universal’s romantic-comedy movie “Marry Me” — starring Jennifer Lopez, Owen Wilson, and Maluma — is based on the graphic novel of the same name by Bobby Crosby.

The movie centers around a pop star (Lopez), who is about to get married to her rockstar fiancee (Maluma) during a massive event at Madison Square Garden, however, moments before exchanging vows, learns he’s been cheating on her with her assistant.

After an on-stage meltdown, she picks a random man out of the crowd, a porced math teacher (Wilson) to marry instead.

10 Things I Hate About You

The movie is a modern adaptation of The Taming of the Shrew set at a high school.

It is centered around sardonic, ill-tempered Kat (played by Julia Stiles) whose bad attitude keeps her from dating, which complicates things for her younger sister, who isn't allowed to date until Kat has a boyfriend.

Because of this, an elaborate plot is hatched to get the school's resident bad boy, Patrick (Heath Ledger), to make Kat fall for him so everyone else can date each other.
