The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced early Wednesday that six Palestinians were killed and several others were injured in the continuing Israeli bombardment of the Gaza Strip.
According to the Palestinian news agency WAFA, the ministry stated that among the deceased were a woman and a child. The woman was killed in an attack on two tents housing displaced individuals west of Khan Younis in southern Gaza. Meanwhile, a child and another individual lost their lives when an Israeli strike hit a residential apartment belonging to the Al-Haj family in the Nuseirat camp in central Gaza. Additionally, another civilian was killed and several were wounded by drone fire targeting the Shuja'iyya neighborhood in eastern Gaza City.
The statement also mentioned a civilian who succumbed to injuries from a previous Israeli attack. The Israeli military continues to demolish residential buildings in the northwestern part of Rafah, located in southern Gaza.
Since the onset of hostilities on October 7, 2023, the death toll in Gaza has risen to 50,810, with injuries totaling 115,688.
