The Islamic Waqf Department in Jerusalem reported that thousands gathered for the sixth night of Ramadan, while Israeli authorities blocked access for many West Bank residents.
Israeli forces raided Ramallah and Nablus, storming a building and firing tear gas in the town of Al-Khader, south of Bethlehem, causing several cases of suffocation.
In diplomatic talks, PLO official Hussein Al-Sheikh met with German National Security Advisor Jens Plötner to discuss Israeli actions in the West Bank, the Gaza ceasefire, and reconstruction efforts. Both sides rejected forced displacement and reaffirmed Palestinian territorial unity.
Plötner reiterated Germany’s support for the Palestinian people and the ceasefire, stressing that a two-state solution is the only way to achieve stability in the region.
