On Friday, Egypt’s short film “Abu Judy” was screened at 45 Cairo International Film Festival’s Short Film Competition.
The film traces Judy who is a 10-year old girl and spends a day with his father.
The father takes her on his bike during his mysterious world of drugs, and relationships.
The girl expresses her feelings towards her father actions slightly. She shares only gazes of frustration, sympathy, sorrow, and caring. Her gazes express thousands of words without verbal action.
The film is directed by Adel Ahmed Yehia.
