4.1-Maqnitude Earthquake Struck in South Iraq

On Saturday afternoon, a 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck near Riz in Bushehr Province, southern Iran, with no early reports of injuries.

The earthquake struck at a depth of 20 kilometers at 13:49 p.m. local time on Saturday, according to Iran's Seismological Center, which is connected with Tehran University's Institute of Geophysics.

The quake's epicenter was at 52.12 degrees longitude and 52.12 degrees latitude. There were no reports of serious casualties or property damage right away.

During the past 30 days, Iraq was shaken by 1 quake of magnitude 4.4, 10 quakes between 3.0 and 4.0, and 28 quakes between 2.0 and 3.0. There were also 3 quakes below magnitude 2.0 which people don't normally feel.
