The official Palestinian news agency (Wafa) has reported that 25 Palestinians have died and many others have been injured as a result of airstrikes targeting several homes in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, north of Gaza City, conducted by the occupying forces.
On the other hand, the Israeli military detained at least 28 Palestinians from various areas of the West Bank during the night and into the morning hours, including minors and individuals who had previously been incarcerated.
According to reports from the Palestinian Authority's Commission for Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners Society, the majority of these arrests took place in the Hebron and Nablus governorates.
Additionally, other arrests were made in the governorates of Ramallah, Tulkarm, Tubas, and Jerusalem.
Among those detained were the mother of two deceased Palestinians from Tulkarm, a university student from Nablus, and an injured person who was taken by special forces from the Arab Specialized Hospital in Nablus.
The operations were marked by violence, threats directed at the detainees and their families, as well as extensive damage and vandalism to residences.
Since the onset of the current Israeli aggression against the Palestinian population in October 2023, over 11,900 Palestinians have been detained from the West Bank, including Jerusalem. The precise number of detainees from Gaza remains challenging to ascertain due to the ongoing practice of enforced disappearances by Israeli forces, with estimates indicating that thousands have been arrested.
