Egyptian students Ahmed Ossama Mohamed Mandour, in the third grade, and Yusef Yasser Morsi, a third year secondary student, received a partial scholarship for four years at the University of Swago, USA, announced Shyreen Sabry, spokesman for the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology.
The students were nominated by the Egyptian Ministry of Education, in cooperation with the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology in tickets to represent Egypt in the "Guinness Olympiad 2018" competition held in New York State in the United States from 17 to 22 June 2019.
The competition, which included about 2000 projects from 78 countries around the world that witnessed the participation of 1400 students in all fields of science and engineering, is one of the most important international competitions focusing on environmental issues.
Dr. Mahmoud Sakr, the President of the Academy, said: "A special grant program and an institutionalized system were planned to support the participation of Egyptian students in international exhibitions and competitions within the framework of the Academy's executive plan to support innovation, innovators and speakers".
