UNRWA announced the killing of at least 19 colleagues from the organization during the raids, bringing the number of martyrs to 130 UNRWA workers since October 7.
In a statement, UNRWA confirmed the displacement of about 1.9 million people (or more than 85 percent of the population) throughout the Gaza Strip since October 7.
She noted that as of December 3, approximately 1.2 million displaced persons were residing in 156 UNRWA facilities in all five governorates of the Gaza Strip, including the north and Gaza City.
Nearly one million displaced people were staying in 99 facilities in the central, Khan Yunis and Rafah areas. Among these facilities, there are 64 facilities in Khan Yunis and Rafah
According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, at least 15,523 Palestinians have been martyred in Gaza so far.
It was reported that about 70 percent of the martyrs were women and children, and many others are missing and presumed to be under the rubble, waiting to be rescued or recovered.
According to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, since October 7, Israeli forces have killed 244 Palestinians, including 65 children, in the West Bank, in addition to the killing of eight people, including one child, at the hands of Israeli settlers.
