Chucky Second Season Is Coming Later This Year

Don Mancini, the creator of the original Child's Play franchise, unveiled a new teaser poster for the second season of the USA Network/SYFY series "Chucky".

The poster unveiled that the second season is set to arrive later this year.

The first season of "Chucky" premiered in October 2021. The series has received high ratings and rave reviews from critics.

It serves as a sequel to the seventh movie in the Child’s Play franchise “Cult of Chucky”, which was released in 2017.

Mancini serves as the creator of the series, which featured Alex Vincent as Andy, the original child tormented by the doll in the first movie, and Christine Elise McCarthy as Andy’s foster-sister, Brad Dourif as Chucky, Fiona Dourif as Nica Pierce, and Jennifer Tilly as Tiffany Valentine, Chucky’s Bride.

The series also starred Teo Briones, Alyvia Alyn Lind, Björgvin Arnarson, Devon Sawa, Lexa Doig, Barbara Alyn Woods, and others.

It revolved around a sculpture artist teenager (Zackary Arthur), who is bullied and sort of lost after the recent death of his mother. He finds and buys Chucky at a yard sale, leading to chaos at his idyllic American town as a series of horrifying murders begin to expose the town’s hypocrisies and secrets.

Channel Zero creator Nick Antosca serves as an executive producer on the series.
