On Tuesday, Enzo Zidane, the eldest son of Zinedine Zidane, announced retiring football at the age of 29.
Enzo decided to hang up his boots and without reaching the heights many have expected.
Despite his promising start in football, he ended his career at Fuenlabrada in the Primera RFEF.
He spent more than a decade training in the Real Madrid academy and his first team debut was in November 2016 during the run of his father as the La Liga giants head coach.
But, he left the club soon and had several runs in various clubs across Europe like Alavés, Lausanne in Switzerland, Rayo Majadahonda, CD Aves in Portugal, Almería, and Rodez Aveyron in France’s Ligue 2.
By the summer of 2023, after finishing his time with Fuenlabrada, Enzo teased his retirement to focus on his family and business outside of the sport.
